Standing at an elevation of approximately 2,637 meters (8,652 feet) above sea level, Doddabetta Peak is the highest peak in the Nilgiri Hills and one of the most visited tourist destinations in Ooty. Located about 10 kilometers from Ooty town, the peak attracts nature lovers, adventure seekers, and photographers from across the country.
Surrounded by dense shola forests and scenic mountain landscapes, Doddabetta offers spectacular panoramic views of the Nilgiri mountain ranges.
